(WJET/WFXP)-- The former SCI Cambridge Springs corrections officer who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two inmates received his sentence this week and will not be facing any time in jail.

According to the Meadville Tribune, 51-year-old Alfonzia Newsome was sentenced on August 27 to two years of house arrest, to go with five years of probation and register as a sex offender for the next 15 years. The house arrest and probation will run concurrently.

Newsome pleaded guilty to three counts each of felony institutional sexual assault, misdemeanor indecent assault by forcible compulsion and summary harassment charges with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, though court documents show he was not sentenced for the harassment charges.
