Back in the halcyon days of cable TV, late night would be filled with such wonders. I know exactly where your mind just went, and I’m not talking about that (though, I won’t lie, it did help me get through puberty). No, I mean the gloriousness of “trash” cinema.

Shows such as USA Up All Night , MonsterVision with Joe Bob Briggs and Night Flight , or simply the random programming on a random channel, brought forth a treasure trove of entertainment alternatives to the same old, same old of common and mainstream cinema. This cornucopia, along with Mystery Science Theater 3000 years later, taught me the difference between “bad” movies and terrible ones, and how to appreciate them all.
