KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) - Most 20-year-olds are either in college or just getting started in their careers.

For 20-year-old Elizabethton native Carter Davison, he's already running his second business.

Davison sold his first business and bought The Bagel Exchange in Kingsport. The previous owners were looking for a young mind to take over the shop. They trusted Davison, but he said they were surprised to learn that he was only 19 years old at the time of the sale.

"The day that we closed on the business, he's like, 'Well, you want to go out for a beer?' I was like 'About that...' I was 19, and his jaw dropped to the floor," Davison said. "He was like, 'Man, I know you're young, but I was thinking maybe late twenties, but not late teens.'"
