WASHINGTON — A former Metropolitan Police officer who became an outspoken advocate for fellow officers victimized by the Capitol riot is launching a new campaign demanding that Federal officers take off their masks .

Masked Federal officers and ICE agents have become a common sight in the District and in other cities across the country. Numerous videos have circulated on social media showing such officers isolating people, restraining them, and putting them in the back of vehicles.
