A carer has been struck off after leaving two care home residents in 'distress'.

Lewis Clark, who was employed as a carer by HC-One Limited in Glasgow , was found to have 'abused' vulnerable residents under his care.

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) heard that between January 21 and January 22 2021, Clark grabbed a resident by the chin and shook their head while swearing at him. On the same date, Clark was also heard to have told a resident to 'get to your f******' bed' and kicked them in the back of their legs.

The regulator heard that both residents were left 'distressed' by the acts. Summing up the case, the SSSC decided to strike Clark off after stating that he showed no remorse for his actions.
