Coventry City twice gave up their lead as another two set-piece goals denied them the full three points at struggling Oxford United.

Haji Wright gave the Sky Blues the early advantage in a dominant start at the Kassam Stadium, the USA international beating the keeper at his near post after being fed by Jack Rudoni.

But City’s 12th minute lead lasted just seven minutes before the U’s pulled level, Frank Lampard’s men conceding from yet another set-piece as Will Lankshear was quickest to react to a parried save from Cameron Brannagan’s drilled free-kick from outside the box.

Victor Torp, however, then restored the first half lead on 37 minutes when he hit a brilliantly placed free-kick over the wall from 20 yards out.
