PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — After a month-long investigation, the Priceville Police Department arrested a Decatur woman on Saturday for theft.

On July 30, a local business reported a theft by an employee, which led to an investigation.

The business said that about $10,000 in unauthorized charges were made on a company credit card that the employee had.

PPD said when officers had enough evidence and reviewed it, a warrant for first-degree theft of property was issued for Dayna Ferrell King, 44, of Decatur.

This led to investigators arresting King on Aug. 30 on the felony warrant and taking her to the Morgan County Jail.

PPD said she is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
