Frank Lampard has confirmed that out of favour Coventry City striker Norman Bassette could be heading out on loan to French second division Stade de Reims.

The 20-year-old, who only joined the Sky Blues a year ago, is claimed to have been in France today where it is reported that he was due to have a medical following the club’s game against Le Mans, where he was in attendance.

French journalist Samir Djabali, with over 7k followers on X , posted on the social media platform: “The striker, Norman Bassette is set to join Stade De Reims.

“Medical examination scheduled for today after the match against Le Mans. He will attend the match.

Signing to follow immediately after the medical examination!”
