Amid constantly moving crowds, excitable kids and families in line for Swiss tacos or scones, this year’s Swiss Days played host to thousands of patrons looking to fill their time with a little Swiss flavor.

At multiple booths, men and women donned traditional Swiss garb. Volunteers scurried around, constantly helping each other restock baked goods or direct attendees, recognizable by their red “Swiss Days 2025” T-shirts. Walking away from the pies and cookies line, an older woman helped her partner with his full plate of pie a la mode.

“They put an entire half gallon of ice cream on there,” he muttered, bewildered.

And clear from one booth, Lily McMaster’s wind chime-like voice rang out.

“High on the hill there’s a lonely goatherd,” she sang.

McMaster, 13, was a Swiss Miss attendant.
