TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Authorities responded to a swatting incident at the University of South Florida's Tampa campus on Saturday.
According to USFPD, a call came in at 4:50 p.m. reporting an alleged active shooter at the school.
The Tampa Police Department also assisted with the call.
USFPD said that as of 6:03 p.m., they were clearing the incident and there was no threat to the public.
No further details have been released.
