HARTFORD, Conn. — The Connecticut Paid Leave Authority continues to find success, according to its annual report, which was released Friday.
CT Paid Leave is tasked with providing income replacement benefits to eligible workers across the state.
The authority revealed that since its creation in June 2019, the program has paid more than $1.23 billion in CT Paid Leave benefits to over 165,000 workers in Connecticut.
The 2025 Annual Report – named “Supporting Connecticut. Growing Together.” – summarized the activity of the authority between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025.
It shows that the number of claims filed in fiscal year 2025 increased by over 9% compared to the previous year.
