Woman taken to the hospital with burns after grill flare-up in Hartford – NBC Connecticut

A woman in Hartford was taken to the hospital after a grill accident, fire fighters said.

Hartford Fire Department responded to the scene at 4:57 p.m. along New Road in Hartford for a report of a grill flare-up, authorities said.

Upon arrival, fire fighters said they found a woman who had sustained burn injuries to her arm and neck.

The woman was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment and the extent of her injuries are unknown at this time, fire fighters said.

Authorities said The Hartford Fire Marshal's Office responded to the scene to investigate the incident.
