JONESBORO, Ark. – On Saturday night, the Arkansas State Red Wolves beat the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks 42-24 to win their first game of the 2025 season.
The Red Wolves came into the season with high hopes after their win in the 68 Ventures Bowl to end last season.
On Saturday they came out swinging, taking a 28-10 lead over the Redhawks into halftime before coming out in the second half and adding two more touchdowns to seal the victory.
The Red Wolves offense was led by quarterback Jaylen Raynor completing 26 of 32 passes for 345 yards and three touchdowns. Devin Spencer, Kenyon Clay and Ja’Quez Cross each ran for scores while Corey Rucker, Jaylen Bonelli and Cross added receiving touchdowns.
Up next for the Red Wolves, they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks at War Memorial Stadi
