STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A child sex crimes investigation led to the arrest of a Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said its Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) recently arrested 21-year-old Skyler Brown.

MSHP said the DDCC’s Special Victims Unit (SVU) received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children back in August, indicating someone online had uploaded child pornography.

After conducting a thorough investigation, MSHP said Brown was identified as the suspect.

Then on August 27, investigators searched a home in Ste. Genevieve County and interviewed Brown. They also collected evidence.

Brown was arrested and transported to the Ste. Genevieve County Jail.
