Nehemiah Maynes threw a late go-ahead touchdown pass to push Pemberton to a 16-14 season-opening road win over Hamilton West, in Trenton.

Maynes delivered a touchdown pass to Avery Lacey with 52 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Nate Rivera sealed the win for Pemberton (1-0) with a interception. The win was also Pemberton’s first Week 0 victory since 2017.

Hamilton West (0-1) will face East Brunswick on the road on Saturday, while Pemberton will play Northern Burlington in a home-opener on the same day.
