One person is in critical condition following multiple crashes in two towns on Saturday night.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m., the Cheshire Police Department received a call from “a motorist whose vehicle had just been struck by a white color 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe at the intersection of Knotter Dr and Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike in Southington.”

The caller said that after the crash, the Tahoe sped off into Cheshire and they lost sight of the vehicle east on West Johnson Ave, toward Highland Avenue, according to Cheshire Police’s social media post.

Shortly after, the caller found the Tahoe in front of 181 West Johnson Avenue involved in a single-car crash and the driver was out of the vehicle and on the ground.
