EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon football fans have had to patiently wait 10 long months for their first tailgate of the 2025 season.

Tailgaters who woke up early Saturday morning said what the return to Autzen on gameday means to them.

“I'm so excited, tailgating so far has been so much fun and I think that this Oregon team has proven to be so strong so far, from what I've seen in preseason and practices,” Oregon fan Kaylie Jones said. “And I'm just excited to see that on the field.”

“When you tailgate, you gotta be with your family,” Oregon fan Sunile Schauffler said.”

Even though this can be a joyous time of year for people returning to Autzen, traffic on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and the surrounding areas can affect vehicle mobility in Eugene.
