John Victor signs for Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper John Victor.

The 29-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal from Botafogo. He becomes the Reds’ 10th addition of the summer transfer window .

Victor will provide back-up for Reds No.1 Matz Sels. Angus Gunn arrived on a free transfer earlier in the summer to do the same.

Chief football officer Ross Wilson said of Victor’s arrival: “John has caught the attention of many clubs after some impressive seasons in Brazil, so we’re pleased he has chosen Forest as his next step.
