Two teenagers have been arrested after a machete fight allegedly took place in broad daylight in a Nottingham street. Armed police officers were deployed after receiving reports that two teenagers were brandishing machetes towards each other near Green’s Mill Park in Sneinton at 12.43pm on Wednesday, September 3.
Two young men, aged 17 and 18, matching the descriptions given were found close by and arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. Nottinghamshire Police said a machete was seized and that both teenagers remain in police custody.
