TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department says a motorcyclist has died following a crash at Broadway and Kolb Sunday, August 31.

Police identified the motorcyclist as 28-year-old Drake Edward Gemrose.

The TPD says the crash happened about 1:30 p.m.

Police say evidence indicates a 2015 Toyota Prius was in the left-hand turn bay on south Kolb Road, north of Broadway Boulevard.

The Prius attempted to turn left into a shopping center, and collided with the motorcyclist, who was driving north on Kolb Road.

The driver of the Prius stopped and cooperated with the investigation.

An officer from the DUI Unit responded to the scene and determined the driver of the Prius was not impaired at the time of the collision.
