TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man is fighting for his life after getting hit by a vehicle near Fort Lowell and Oracle in Tucson on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
The Tucson Police Department said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The TPD said the vehicle that hit him remained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
It has been a deadly period on the roads in southern Arizona. There have been seven fatal crashes since Aug. 27.
On Aug. 27, authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash near Sunrise and Swan in Pima County. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said at least one person suffered serious injuries.
On Aug. 27, a motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash near Alvernon Way and Los Reales Road in Tucson. The
