MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The University of Memphis police department is investigating a hoax threat that was made Sunday to the university’s main campus.

Police recieved a call at 10:56 a.m. and responded to the scene at the McWherter Library at 10:57 a.m.

Police assisted campus police with surveying the scene. There were no signs of forced entry or any evidence of any danger.

The library is closed for the Labor Day Holiday.
