After years of concern that tech companies are turning their backs on San Francisco, a tech giant has decided to return its annual conference to the city for years to come.
For its 20th anniversary, Visa committed to hosting its Visa Payments Forum event at the Moscone Center from 2026 until 2030, according to a news release Wednesday. In 2024, the company held the event in San Francisco after opening its Mission Bay Headquarters , but took the event to Dallas in 2025 .
“The future of payments is here in San Francisco, a city that has always been at the heart of Visa’s story,” Oliver Jenkyn, group president of global markets at Visa, said in the Wednesday news release. “By bringing Visa Payments Forum home, we are investing in the local community, supporting economic growth, and sh
