What is the BackPack Program?

ETFB launched its Backpack Program in 2005.

Children receive a weekend food pack every Friday from the East Texas Food Bank’s (ETFB) BackPack Program.

The food is discreetly placed in a bag in the child’s backpack.

The food is healthy, kid-friendly, and features food items that’s easy for children to open.
