It's transfer deadline day and we're expecting a fairly busy day at Middlesbrough - albeit one without many unexpected twists.

Boro are closing in on the signing of David Strelec and it is expected that the long-term striker target will join the club on the final day of the window, in what will be a fine finish to a solid summer transfer window.

Boro head into the final day having already signed eight players, and unless there are any departures that would require replacements, they aren't expected to do any other incoming business. The majority of today is expected to centre around getting fringe players out the door, with squad numbers needing to be cut.
