Marcus Forss appears to have played his final game for Middlesbrough after completing a season-long loan move to Bolton Wanderers.
After finding himself well down the pecking order at Boro , the Finn has decided to move on and join the League One promotion hopefuls in order to kickstart his career. Although Boro were only able to sort a loan exit for the 26-year-old, he is in the final year of his contract at the Riverside and is unlikely to earn a new deal.
On signing for Wanderers, Forss said: “I really enjoyed my time at Middlesbrough, but I needed a fresh start. And when this came about I was really excited for the challenge. I spoke to the manager and I got a really good, positive idea about the club and the way he wants to play and where I fit in.
