Hammarby have turned down an improved £5.5million deadline day bid from Celtic for Sebastian Tounekti. ‌

The Swedish side are adamant they don’t want to sell their prize asset in this window. ‌

It remains to be seen if the Scottish champions will go in again or look elsewhere before the close of play. ‌

Celtic , along with Rangers, is keen on a loan for Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi , but Tounekti remains their preferred choice.

Brendan Rodgers’s side have already had two bids tuned down for the Tunisian international.

The Hoops have stepped up their interest in the winger in recent days . ‌

Tounekti only moved to Hammarby earlier this year from Haugesund and they don’t want to sell him.
