Lincolnshire is appealing for witnesses after a woman and child were assaulted in a town centre. A woman in her twenties was reported to have been in an altercation with a man in his twenties in .

The incident took place on Thursday, August 28 outside the Lock Café near the Sluice Bridge area. A young boy was present during the altercation, which happened just after 1.30pm, and it is during the altercation.

Officers are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information on what happened to get in touch. This can be done by emailing Helen.Wood@lincs.police.uk quoting incident 192 of August 28, 2025.
