BEREA — Now that the roster is down to 53, several Cleveland Browns players are switching up their jersey numbers ahead of the season opener.

The Browns announced five jersey changes on Sept. 1, six days ahead of the opener against the Cincinnati Bengals . Those changes are:

Safety Rayshawn Jenkins, who's going from No. 28 to No. 5

Quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who's going from No. 5 to No. 8

Wide receiver Isaiah Bond, who's going from No. 81 to No. 16

Kicker Andre Szmyt, who's going from No. 47 to No. 25

Defensive tackle Adin Huntington, who's going from No. 66 to No. 98

Jenkins took Gabriel's old number, after Gabriel took quarterback Kenny Pickett's number after Pickett was traded to Las Vegas. Bond took the number worn during the offseason and training camp by wide receiver Di
