EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - As families prep their kids for their first day of school photos, remember to not share specific details like your child’s grade or their school name.

Experts at the Family Resource Center shining light on oversharing concerns as it can make way for predators, unsolicited comments and even identity theft of the child.

They all urge parents to keep details minimal if posting to social media, and keeping photos and personal information between close family members.
