EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Labor Day marks the unofficial end of boating season.

Monday, the Henderson boat ramp was full of people out enjoying gorgeous weather while it lasts.

Many children were out with their families as they had day off from school for the holiday.

Callee Meuth says, she and her kids get out as often as they can.

“It’s fun! It’s fun, kids have fun...the beach, they enjoy the water. Friends are out there, family is out there, you make new friends,’ said Meuth.

Of course, you can still go out on the water after today, it just means days with good boating weather are numbered.
