EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - You’ve still got a couple more days to make a visit to the LST-325.
The historic World War II ship heads off on its fall tour later this week.
The ship moves out of Evansville every year to stop at port cities on the U.S. river system.
Officials say the ship will be closed to the public starting Wednesday.
We’ll see it take off on the Ohio River around 10 Friday morning.
Officials say they are stopping at three ports - Muscatine, Iowa, Alton, Illinois, and Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
The LST is expected back home and to be ready for guided tours by Friday, October 3rd.
