CHANDLER, Ind. (WFIE) - It’s was the G.O.A.T. of Labor Day celebrations in Warrick County today.
Blue Heron Farm in Chandler hosted their first-ever Labor Day Goat-Together for the holiday weekend.
Those who stopped by got the chance to buy their products and pet the animals.
The owners say they’ve noticed more and more families coming to visit, so they decided to create this event.
“I know a lot of people just don’t have the ability to be around the animals and see them close and get to know them and they all have such different personalities,” says owner Jill Ingram. “They’re really fun to hang out with.”
Organizers say they are planning to make this a yearly event.
