A free community event to celebrate the grand opening of Gym Skills, 6287 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville, will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 6.

Activities include face painters, balloon artists, a food truck, and giveaways at the event.

The new recreational facility is a gymnastics, tumbling, and ninja gym for all ages offering weekly classes, open gyms, clinics, birthday parties, camps, parents night out, and other events.

The founding 100 members will receive a waived registration fee, 10% off their first month of classes, and other goodies.
