EDDY, Texas (KWTX) - You may remember Terry Moore, a local 12-year-old who recently had his arm amputated after more than two years of battling cancer.
But that hasn’t slowed him down at all. In fact, Terry just made his debut in New York City’s Times Square.
On August 20th anyone in Times Square would have gotten to see Terry among the thousands of billboards, something his mom says was surreal to see.
“Seeing that was just kind of like… huge in a way cause it’s Times Square, who doesn’t want their face in Times Square,” shared Natalie Moore.
How did he get there? Back in 2023 Terry and his mom met Danny McDonald, who rides hundreds of miles on his bike every year for the Great Cycle Challenge USA , raising money for the children’s cancer research fund.
