STILLWATER — Oklahoma State’s Zane Flores will make his first quarterback start in the belly of the beast: Oregon’s Autzen Stadium.

It’s a tough assignment for the redshirt freshman, who replaced Hauss Hejny in the Cowboys’ 27-7 win over UT Martin last week.

Mike Gundy expressed confidence in Flores, who is in his third season on campus. There will be some nerves, as expected, but it’s up to the coaches to make life as simple as possible for a challenging road game.
