Financial penalty imposed on National Children’s Hospital builder amid latest delay
Board overseeing project has withheld 15pc of BAM's latest monthly invoice payment
The development board overseeing the construction of the new National Children’s Hospital has escalated its actions against builder BAM, imposing a financial penalty as yet another deadline is missed.
It has started to hold back part-monthly payments invoiced by the company because a late-September deadline for completion of the €2.24bn facility will be missed.
