Tourist in serious condition after 50ft fall from Howth cliffs

A tourist is in a serious condition after falling from cliffs in Howth, Co Dublin, on Wednesday evening.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 7.30pm after the individual fell an estimated 50 feet near the cliff paths.

The operation involved the Howth unit of the Irish Coast Guard, Howth RNLI, Dublin Fire Brigade and its paramedics, along with Rescue 116, the Dublin-based Coast Guard helicopter.
