It leaves the playing group at City looking in decent nick for a Championship promotion push.
While there were plenty of outgoings, there may not have been as many as City fans would have liked given their relegation.
But they did rake in the cash. Once Bilal El Khannouss’s loan to Stuttgart becomes permanent next summer, and if the add-ons in Mads Hermansen, Kasey McAteer and James Justin’s moves pay off, City will eventually recoup around £79m from their summer of business.
