A community is coming together to support a man diagnosed with a rare and Dan Chapman was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, a after noticing a rash on his legs after a run.
He initially felt fine but noticed small red spots that didn't itch. Days later after another run, he was in hospital having an urgent platelet transfusion.
It was towards the end of May that Mr Chapman, of Holbeach, received his diagnosis and was told he needs a stem cell transplant to to introduce healthy stem cells into the bloodstream.
