FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina State Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver is set to detail data from last year’s SC READY assessments.

Weaver will be in Florence County for an event on Tuesday, where she will go over data from tests taken by students in grades 3-8.

According to the South Carolina Department of Education, SC READY tests are “statewide assessments in English language arts and mathematics that will meet all of the requirements of Acts 155 and 200, the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act and the Assessments Peer Review guidance.”
