HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — Authorities are providing an update on bone fragments that were found in an area tied to the disappearance of Heather Teague.
As we reported , authorities said bone fragments were found during excavation behind Cagey's Store on Highway 811 near Reed.

Officials said the bones were set to be sent to medical examiners in Louisville.
On Tuesday, KSP officials said that the Medical Examiner in Louisville had identified them as deer bones. They say no fragments taken were human.
August 26 marked 30 years since Teague's disappearance in 1995. She was last seen on Newburgh Beach in Spottsville.
