LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - As the Huskers prepare for their first home game of the season, the City of Lincoln is providing the following gameday reminders and traffic tips to make sure everything runs smoothly.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers play against the Akron Zips on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. This is the first of the Huskers’ seven home games.

Reminders

The University of Nebraska enforces a clear bag policy at Memorial Stadium.

Alcohol consumption is prohibited on City streets, parking lots, garages, and sidewalks, including the trail between Haymarket Park and Eighth Street. Drinking is also prohibited on State property.

The sale of tickets, souvenirs or other items is not allowed on City streets or sidewalks.

The sale of food, flowers or balloons requires a sidewalk vendor permit.
