The Spartans earned a 23-6 victory over Western Michigan in their opener last Saturday. Quarterback Aidan Chiles completed 17 of 23 passes for 155 yards and one touchdown thrown to wide receiver Nick Marsh. Brandon Tullis and Makhi Frazier each rushed for a touchdown and kicker Blake Sislo went three for three in extra point attempts.
