CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have arrested a man accused of shooting and killing another during a suspected drug deal last week in northwest Charlotte.

CMPD officers responded to a 911 call just after midnight on Thursday, August 28, along Hoskins Mill Lane. According to court documents, a woman told dispatchers she heard gunshots, then moaning, and saw a man bleeding on her porch.

When officers arrived, they found Sean Nicholas Watson, 48, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Atrium Health in critical condition but died two days later on Saturday, August 30.
