A blood drive this week can help ease the shortage for our area, and get you a break on your electricity bill.

Paducah Power's annual Power for Patients blood drive is Wednesday and Thursday at the Cherry Civic Center.

All blood types are in short supply.

Paducah Power customers who donate can get a one-time $20 credit on your next bill. Non customers can donate the credit to someone who is, or to a non-profit on the PPS system.

The drive is open from 11:30am to 5:30pm both days. Walk ins are welcome, or you can make an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org .
