KNOXVILLE, Pa. (WETM) — Got books collecting dust? One library in the Northern Tier is looking to take them off your hands and use them to support a good cause.

The Knoxville Public Library announced that its looking for people to donate books starting Tuesday, Sept. 2 through Thursday, Sept. 11 for its book sale set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 13. The book sale is to raise funds for the library.

During the library's business hours people can stop by 112 E. Main Street in Knoxville and drop off books until Thursday, Knoxville Public Library explained. Books being donated should be in decent condition, with no yellow pages and ideally published before 2015 or newer, the library expressed. Encyclopedias, and textbooks will not be accepted as donations, the library noted.
