TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 to end any non-disclosure agreements 90 days before a county body votes on projects. This decision comes in the aftermath of the controversial Project Blue.
Supervisor Jen Allen introduced the new policy, which aims to increase transparency and public involvement in county decisions.
Supervisor Steve Christy expressed concerns about potential barriers for businesses. "With the way Project Blue was handled beginning to end, particularly the end, there aren’t that many companies that would even consider coming into Pima County," Christy said.
