GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KSNW) - Sometimes a new season means a new coach, and for Garden City, it's now the Joe Price era.

Price implements a new system with plenty of experience at both wide receiver and defensive back.

Culden Plankenhorn also returns on defense as the leading tackler for the Buffaloes last year. At quarterback, Landon Moquette is projected to be the starter come week one.

As the new head coach says, the ultimate goal for Garden City football is growth.

"I think as our team goes through the season, my goal is for us to have growth every week with a new system and new things going in and kind of a new philosophy, a twist on how they're doing things here. I think we'll continue to grow as the season goes along," Price said.
