PENSACOLA, Fla. — Lexi Wisely and her family were on vacation in Pensacola, Florida, over Labor Day weekend, when they found themselves in a terrifying situation.

Wisely was driving the family home, while her husband sat in the backseat with their 1-year-old daughter, Emily, who wasn't feeling well. Emily has a history of having febrile seizures, which are seizures that occur when a child has a fever.

Emily started breathing differently and exhibiting signs of having a seizure, Wisely said.

"I just became absolutely hysterical in that moment," Wisely recalled. "You never know what's going to happen or how you're going to react when it's your own daughter, your own family member."
